At one point in our life, we have to decide what career will best suit us depending on the different factors. One of those factors includes your environment; where you were brought up, what you grew up doing and seeing can motivate you to venture into a particular profession or not. Another factor that is crucial determinant is our passion. That inner power that makes you feel so motivated to determine to be in a particular profession.

There is a popular saying that, shows me your friend and I will tell you who you are. The people we associate with to a large extent act as a mirror of who you are as an individual. You agree with me that, most of this career decision are made at our teenage. Although we grow up singing what we want to be when we grow up, the reality tends to shines we are at teenage. Teenagers are the most affected group when it comes to peer pressure, and that is why you will see a person choosing the wrong profession just to please his/her friend or to be with a friend. This will end up haunting you sooner than you expect as it may prove difficult or directly opposite to your passion or even talent.
Choosing a career due to monetary consideration
Some of the profession such medicine, are highly esteemed in the community. If you are pursuing medicine, then you are assumed to be brilliant, intellect and such. Due to such perception and may be pressure from parents, close friends, and relatives, you may end up landing in such a profession. If you have no passion and characters that suit the profession, you choose then regret will be inevitable. Some of us cannot even look at a dead body, but still insist that they want to be doctors, regardless of your brightness, it will never work for you.
